プレゼント・プログレッシブ（現在進行形）は、現在起こっている動作や、現在の一定期間に発生する継続した動作を表します。また、「現在」とは言え、具体的にはこの瞬間だけでなく、この日、この週、この月など、もう少し広い意味で使われることもあります。会話や文章の中で活用する際には、主語に応じたBE動詞（am, is, are）に続いて動詞の原形＋ingを使うことで現在進行形を作ります。
この演習では、英語の現在進行形を練習するためのフィルインザブランク（穴埋め）問題を行います。各文には１つの空欄があり、適切な現在進行形の形を考えて埋めてください。文脈をしっかりと読み取り、正しい形を使いましょう。以下に、２つの演習を設けてありますので、文法力を試しながら英語の理解を深めることができます。
